"This stuff is amazing. I had my doubts, but now it’s the supplement I buy most often. I am Italian, and I love cheese, but my body doesn’t apparently. After years and years of getting sick fairly often, I finally realized that if I had 3 meals within 2 days that had dairy - like if I ate pizza for lunch, ice cream for dessert at dinner, and a sandwich with cheese on it the next day, I would absolutely get sick. Which could include sinus infections, phlegm problems, etc, but no matter what, I always had a headache the next day after eating dairy. Especially if I ate pizza. So the only thing I could do was not have pizza much at all (for an Italian, this is hard), and limit dairy to once every few days to a week, max.
Until NOW! Pun intended! I have been using this for over a year now, and it is a total life changer.
Granted, I take more than they suggest, but it works incredibly. Like magic, honestly.
No more headaches, no more sinus trouble, and no more abstaining from dairy just so I don’t get sick.
But as I said, just be safe, I take 2-4 capsules, depending on how much dairy I am eating, and how big the meal is. If it’s pizza, even for only 2 slices, I take 3-4 capsules, for sure. If it’s only a little dairy, 2 capsules.
If 3 bites of dairy, 1 capsule.
Now, for my other supplements l I would never be able to do this, because I’d go broke, having to take so many. But with NOW, they make it so affordable, that it’s no problem. I get the one with 90 capsules, and I usually go through it in a month or 2, and then it’s only $11-$15 dollars to replace it.
That’s pretty darn good. PLUS, it’s SO easy to swallow, which I really value, because swallowing big capsules is hard for me.
Now, (no pun intended) if you are having trouble digesting in general, which I started to have during my late 30’s, I have found a magical combination for that too.
It contains 2 products, 1 of which is also from NOW, which is called Super Enzymes. This has hydrochloric acid in it to break down your food into smaller pieces, and then with that, I take garden of life omega zyme, which actually has all the other stuff - protease, amylase, lipase, etc. And between the 2 I was fine again. It took me years to figure out that combination, so I hope this helps someone else. And if you love dairy like I do, get Dairy Complete!"
