First off, I've been using heavy-duty liver supplements for over a decade and a half due to life-long sluggish liver which has caused me loads of auto-immune, digestive, and overall wellness issues most of my existence. Usually things work for a few months for me, and then I stop getting the results and am forced to move on to the next supplements. So just keep that in mind before I leave my review.
This formula is quite different in ingredients from my last liver supplements, but I just wanted to try something different from the norm to see if I'd get new or better results. The first week or so I did experience an increase in headaches, which is definitely my liver working harder to detox excess hormones and the plethora of toxic overload that I live with. I had a few skin flares - also another detox symptom. I did notice the headaches begin to lessen towards the end of the second week, meaning the liver has gotten through the rough beginnings of a new detox.
I like to have a few glasses of wine on the weekend, and while taking this product I also noticed that it took more for me to feel "buzzed". That's actually a good sign of my liver doing a great job of filtering out the nasties from the wine. However, towards the end of the last week, I was feeling headaches again and not able to drink more than one glass of wine without almost feeling drunk. Now it could be one of two things. Either the my liver was adjusted to the new supplement and not giving me anymore feedback...OR I could have been hitting another level of detox within the liver. And it's difficult to judge which one of those things it is because the symptoms are EXACTLY the same for me. I've switched back over to a liquid herbal supplement that I throw in a few times per year, for the time being. I will revisit this supplement, perhaps in a few months, and see it gives my liver another fresh boost!"
