"My cholesterol got too high and so my doctor gave me instructions for lowering it. There was a section about plant based stanol esters and it mentioned Benecol margarine. I had to go to 3 different stores before I could find it and I never did find the Benecol light margarine. The problem with the margarine is the amount you need to consume (2Tablespoons). I was trying to keep down calories, so I was searching where I could find the Benecol light (without buying a huge case of it), and I came across the chews. I had gone to the Benecol website and there was a ten dollar off code to use on Amazon to try them. I’m happy I found them! You’ll need 4 chews a day (80 calories). They pretty much have the same taste as the margarine with a hint of chocolate and it’s not bad at all."
