Instead of fighting my body's natural knack for muscle atrophy, I was now stacking plates. My chest butterflies went from 180lb 10 reps/3 sets to 255 10 reps/3 sets in a course of four months. Tricep curls went from 135lbs to 170lbs on same rep/set ratio, and squats went from 280lb to 400lb in the same time period. Protein was sourced from eggs and turkey sausage wrapped in some pepper jack cheese on a flax seed wrap for breaking that fast, the greasy fast food Double Quarter Burgers form that one fast food place for lunch, and the ol Muscle Milk shakes for breakfast and snack. Chicken boob and unlimited veggies for dinner.

"I bought this to help with muscle loss I’m experiencing these last few months due to inactivity.
Getting back on my health journey has me evaluating my supplements. I don’t Iike to take a bunch of pills so I am very picky as to which I feel will help me the most
Following a ketogenic eating plan I don’t need a lot of supplements but feel some are warranted.
Experts say HMB will preserve muscle mass and even build it. This is what I’m working to accomplish. Will it work? I’m not sure yet. Time will tell as I’m working on increasing movement and eating a keto plan. I’m keeping an eye on my stats of body fat, weight, visceral fat as well as muscle mass. Over the last 75 days my muscle mass has increased 1%. Is that great? I don’t know. Did HMB help with this? I’m not sure BUT I do know this hasn’t happened before and I’m excited it is! I’m a 62 year old female who’s working on getting healthier. On improving my health markers and that includes weight loss, increased muscle mass and flexibility. As far as this brand and pill count, I found it the best deal. (Who doesn’t like to find a deal)
I will be continuing purchasing this brand as long as the price stays reasonable & I keep seeing muscle growth.
One thing to note is the capsules are on the larger size. I’m ok with that but some cannot take large pills.

"THIS... Is another Nutricost product that is simply awesome. HMB, like creatine, helps build muscle and I implore you to google its benefits and potential side effects prior to trial but I have felt and seen a noticeable difference in my performance after taking this product.

My ONE gripe.. The 'effective' dosage for me is 3gms which means I will be taking 6 of these bad boys a day. Not the worst, especially once you start building your stack out for comps or just general aesthetics but some might not enjoy taking 6 pills. The pills are super easy to take and quite small.

This is a gym MUST for me and I'm sure once you start taking it, it will be added to your supplement stack as well! Nutricost never lets me down on value or performance."
