"Great product, but beware that consuming it often will/can cause kidney stones. I was in the hospital twice in 2 weeks with a bunch of new kidney stones and when the doctor and I discussed how this could be happening, together, we learned that Collagen Protein Powder causes kidney stones, especially if you are prone to kidney stones or have a kidney disease. This product worked so well for my GI tract and I was able to get off all my meds that help move my stool; however, my kidney paid the price and formed a bunch of kidney stones. If you have a healthy kidney I would still limit yourself as to your consumption of this product and discuss it with your doctor. I combined it with Bone Broth Protein Powder and that can cause injury to your kidney and form stones, which it did for me. Discuss these products with your doctor and be on the lookout for kidney stones if you start consuming it. I was thoroughly bummed that I could no longer consume this product and Bone Broth protein powder as well. Be careful because kidney stones are horrifically painful!."
