"I like the fact that this collagen has really done wonders for my hair and my skin. I get so many comments on how fast it is growing. The thing that I do not like is that it does nothing for my nails. I thought the three worked in concert together. Oh, well I guess two out of three makes good odds."

"When you use something every day, you notice when something is not right. And I get that it happens. But I could not return or exchange it through Amazon. It sent me to their website where I had to repeat the explanation and wait for a response. That response took a week and it is going to be another 7 to 14 days before I get a replacement. That's 2 to 3 weeks without a product I use daily.

Up until now, the product has been fine, but I am changing brands due to the poor customer service experience. Had they allowed Amazon to handle the process, I would have had a replacement within a few days.

3 stars is a compromise between decent product and bad service. I don't like leaving bad reviews."

"I was taking collagen caps but wanted to up my dosage, so powder was the way to go. I'm assuming it works like any other collagen supplement, but I'm rather dismayed that it ruins my morning coffee. I'm going to have to think of something else to blend this in. Just because it's "unflavored" doesn't mean it has any taste.

The other issue is that it is hard to dissolve it, even in boiling water and the lumps aren't very appetizing. When I finish this jar I might try another brand to see if it's better or try mixing it with protein powder or something.

As an FYI, I've been taking 10 g of collagen for maybe a year and it makes a big difference in my nails. My hair has always grown fast, so I don't know if there's any effect there. I also notice improvements in my skin (I'm 64). I'm hoping the large dosage will help my knees, which have basically no collagen left. Time will tell, but there was no improvement with the 10g dosage."
