Now I'm not sure once the amino acids in an 11g serving are converted to protein how many grams of protein that 11g grams of amino acids is but currently a 5 oz can of Albacore tuna cost $1.82 and gets you 26 grams of protein. There are 30 servings of amino acids in this product so 330 grams of amino acid, so you pay between 6 and 6.5 cents per gram of amino acid. For the albacore tuna you pay 7 cents even per gram of protein. The cost savings are negligible if you are not a vegetarian.
